Before founding Celebrate By Isabelle, Isabelle produced and managed high-end celebrations and special events for
more than 10 years.
Isabelle started her career in Japan as Director of Events for the French Chamber of Commerce in Tokyo where she planned cocktail receptions, conferences, gala dinners and prestigious functions for the French and Japanese community. After 6 years, she moved to New York City and joined the Private Dining and Special Events team of Chef Thomas Keller’s acclaimed 3 Michelin star restaurant Per Se. She managed the restaurant’s private parties and off-site events from social gatherings to corporate functions and weddings.
Most recently, Isabelle worked in Washington DC as the Special Events manager for the Smithsonian’s National Museum of Asian Art in Washington, DC and planned events for government dignitaries including His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales and the Prime Minister of Japan.
Throughout her career, Isabelle developed a passion for designing and curating unique and thoughtful gifts. She was first introduced to the culture of gift giving during her time in Japan. She was amazed and profoundly inspired by the solemnity behind the act of exchanging gifts and the complexity and care put into the making of a present. Isabelle then refined her experience in premium gifting while working at Per Se restaurant where she designed some of the restaurant’s exclusive gift sets including the popular Black Truffle Risotto Gift Set.
